Tuesday's Child
This quilt appeared in Judy’s book Design Your Own Quilts. Four of Judy’s friends agreed to help make background blocks, using solids in the Amish palette. They each made fifteen four-inch blocks in patterns of their choice. When those were complete, they raided Judy’s stash for a theme fabric that would tie the blocks together. A shortage of theme fabric forced the addition of the tropical-print strip across the top of the larger theme block; that fabric was also used to bind the quilt. Quilt was started 1/12/1988 and finished 7/2/1988.
