Plaid Pizazz

This quilt was intended for Judy’s last book – she worked so hard to get the book finished before she died, but ran out of time. Judy’s notes said “Plaids and stripes made in (Roberta) Horton class years ago.” The working name for the quilt was “Angle & Square.” Blythe found it in the Juneau house with the binding half finished and a needle in the binding. It was a bittersweet moment, picking up the needle that Judy had last held. More than a few tears were shed finishing the binding. Quilt was started 9/18/1989 and finished 4/20/2013.
