High Five
This quilt was featured in Judy’s Book Design Your Own Quilts. The book notes say: “Stylized hands and hearts dance across the surface of this lively quilt. The theme motifs are appliquéd. In the background, high-contrast pinwheels and low-contrast 4- and 16-patch blocks are arranged checkerboard-fashion inside an outer frame of half-square triangle blocks. The inner and outer borders and the binding are all ‘collaged’ (made from strips of different prints, similar in value, cut in irregular lengths).” Quilt was started August 1996 and finished 5/21/1997.
