Gone but not Forgotten
This quilt was featured in Judy’s book, One of a Kind Quilts. The working title was “Earthwatch Dinosaur.” Judy flanked the pieced dinosaur (from Marie Shirer’s and Barbara Brackman’s book Creature Comforts) with jacket patches, which Judys husband earned during his stints as an Earthwatch expedition volunteer. The quilting pattern is based on fossil plant forms. Quilt was started 10/23/1987 and finished 8/2/1988.
