Arctic Applique

Judy developed a set of arctic-themed stencils for reverse appliqué. This quilt was a sample for a class she taught. The class description reads: “Reverse appliqué techniques are a useful addition to the quiltmaker’s repertoire. Learn the basics as you create a small panel featuring motifs inspired by the stone-carved and stenciled prints of the Canadian Eskimo.” Quilt was started 3/2/1988 and finished 5/25/1988.
